Update on Ron and Linda’s Journey to Canada

I continue to heal from my torn tendon injury and surgery. I have several more weeks before I begin rehab and hope to return to the world of walking people. I appreciate the prayers, cards, encouraging words on FB, and rides around town.

Last weekend we spent a wonderful time in Bowling Green KY with our dear friends Scott and Jennifer Wilson. That was a long trip with my knee but with the help of friends (Lanier and Charlotte Gramling) we took our time and made it fine. Mary G’s prayers from the front seat didn’t hurt a bit. We continue to pray about our move to Canada and the most important is the sale of our home. Events in recent days have pushed the closing date later and later…Pray issues get resolved quickly and we can focus on preparations for our move.

In the coming weeks we have trips planned; One to FBC Lacombe LA to discuss a mission trip next summer and a potential partnership for church planting. Another trip is planned to Cincinnati to visit with family and a visit to our home church Highland Avenue Baptist, the place where Linda and I were both saved and the seed of missions was planted into our hearts.

Projected departure for Canada is October 5th As always God is in control and we remain confident and sure!
